I first came across the Burren Perfumery on a trip to Ireland this past summer. I was tempted by their Wild Rose Eau de Perfum, but having never worn perfume, I thought it just one of those shopping splurges that one tries to avoid on vacation. But when I got back to Colorado, I couldn't put it out of my mind. The fragrance was fresh and delicate, just like the beautiful wild roses found on my childhood farm. So I took a risk and ordered online (easy peasy) and am so glad that I did. A tiny spritz brings me back to summer mornings filled with sunshine and dew. It makes me feel special.

The Wild Rose eau de parfum that I just received is lovely. The scent is neither too understated, nor overwhelming. It smells very natural, very much like the wild roses I grew up smelling in Maine, and that I have enjoyed when visiting Ireland.
This was a Christmas gift from my husband, and it’s so nice that I plan to purchase in the future as a gift to my mother and my daughters. The packaging is beautiful as well, and the outer box made it whole and unscathed, all the way from stunning County Clare to Tennessee.
It’s not quite as fun to receive it in the mail as it is to come and shop in your beautiful Burren location, but it will suffice for now.

I recently purchased Wild Rose Eau de Parfum, 50mL and I am so pleased and happy with this lovely, subtle and sublime fragrance. It puts a calm smile on my face.
I also ordered Starflower and Jasmine Nourishing Night Cream. Again, The Burren Perfumery did not disappoint. The cream smoothes on my skin, light, yet with substance. My skin loved it. None of the issues of stinging or clogging of pores found with some facial creams. I've always had dry skin and sweet surprise! ... This product works. Beautifully.

I absolutely adore this perfume. It's not your grandmother's traditional rose fragrance, its modern, sweet, and earthy all at once. Very reminiscent of smelling fresh roses, but you can absolutely pick out the warm earthy notes of honey. It dries down with complete integrity and retains its core scent all throughout the day. Its not overwhelming at all and there's nothing artificial about it. It's a perfect season neutral fragrance for all year round.

I would like to write and let you know that your WILD ROSE is the most beautiful rose fragrance I have yet to encounter! I adore perfumes but only the unique ones, such as the ones you have at The Burren Perfumery! I visited your lovely shop two years ago and had a wonderful time discovering and purchasing scents and lotions. This new fragrance was in the making at the time and am thrilled as it is everything it was supposed to be. It also has none of an “after scent” that frequently happens with many fragrances.
