In addition to the day cream, night cream and cleanser, this has become a daily part of my skincare regime. The serum is light and fragrant and soaks into the skin really easily. The handy pipette is great for managing the distribution of the serum.

Love this serum - the light scent is relaxing and makes the texture of my skin feel smooth and not oily.

Have been using lost garden facial serum for 5 years. I love how it moisturizes and absorbs in the skin with out looking or feeling greasy. Also like the light lovely clean scent that is not overpowering.

I have been using the Lost Garden Facial Serum for years now and I find it’s one of the only things that consistently works well for my skin which is very dry, sensitive and prone to breakouts. Every time I order from the Burren Perfumery, their delivery is so speedy that I never have any reason to contact customer support. The last time I ordered, however, there was an issue with delivery – which was 100% my own fault – and when I contacted them through email to get it sorted Liz went above and beyond to ensure that my issue was resolved as soon as possible. Living in Colorado where the ambient humidity averages 12% and below, really makes for dry skin. The Lost Garden Facial Serum works as a hydrating base for my face and also has diminished the fine wrinkles that come with age. I use it daily. I've been using the Burren Perfumery Wild Rose Serum for a number of years now (along with the Wild Rose Day and Night Creams). I hadn't used a serum before but when I reached my 60s I felt my skin could use an extra boost. It's great for brightening and softening the skin, smoothing out wrinkles and tackling any dry patches that pop up from time to time. I'm currently having treatment for a serious illness and one of the side-effects is dry skin. In anticipation of this, I doubled up on the Wild Rose serum at the start of my treatment and have been using it twice a day throughout. Nearly six months later, there's not a bit of dryness in sight and my skin looks and feels better than ever! And with the Burren Perfumery's regular offers and their generous loyalty scheme, it represents very good value for money to me.

I ordered this serum/oil mainly to complete my Burren skincare arsenal, and wanting to stick with products which are made not that far from my home. (That is to say: no more of the famous French face oil I’ve been using for decades, and whose scent is so addictive!) So, opening this new oil and finding it has a delicate herbal/floral scent was an incredibly lovely moment, making application that bit more delightful. (The skincare industry has found a word for this: “sensoriality”, which is probably made up but does explain this enjoyment) Now that I’ve been using the oil a while, it’s clear that this is a very superior product indeed. My skin absolutely adores it, as I knew it would, since I firmly believe that oil is the most important thing one can put on one’s skin. (It has certainly been the saviour of my own, which used to be temperamental and irritable, but good oil banished all that) This light, penetrating oil is soon absorbed, but goes on working a long time. I think a good massage during application is essential, so that you’re giving your skin a little encouragement to work with the oil. it all helps keep things elastic, and in my late 60s this is a very good thing. I’d say this product easily ranks with the foremost botanical oils out there, the majority of which I have used and enjoyed. But it has the great bonus of being homegrown and not from some anonymous MegaCorp which straddles the globe, and this really does add a lot to its beneficial effects, I’m sure. It seems somehow more immediate, from plant to skin, with minimal industrial processing along the way. You just feel good using these products, and they work every bit as well as any famous industry star products. I couldn’t be more delighted!

This serum is amazing - I've been using it in conjunction with the unscented night cream and my skin has never felt or looked better. My husband even remarked how great my skin was looking!

This serum did not agree with my skin at all. I had previously used the rose day cream which I was happy with. I started with the serum 2 weeks ago and within a few days developed red itchy patches. I persisted for another couple of days and it just got worse. I have stopped using the product and although the area is still inflamed it seems to be less itchy. Very disappointing.

I like using this especially when my skin is feeling dryer than usual.

I absolutely love all of the products and fragrances I've purchased over the years from the perfumery. This serum is no different. I live in a cold climate and it is wonderfully soothing on my skin when I've been outside in the elements.

I’ve been wanting to start using a facial serum, but I was worried my combination skin wouldn’t react well. On a whim, I took a chance on the rose facial serum from The Burren Perfumery. I’m so glad I did! My skin looks and feels so much better- the areas that were typically dry are no longer chapped or red. And my t-zone is more balanced than ever. I will definitely be adding this to my permanent skin regimen.

This serum is beautiful to use as I have older sensitive skin it is non greasy and absorbs effortlessly into my skin when used daily. Especially effective as I wear a face mask all day at work. I have use the sample pot of rose night cream sent with my serum order and really like it. Two great products.

Smooth and nurture your skin without oily residue.
