I was so excited to receive my order from The Burren Perfumery, and I compiled an order specifically for this balancing night cream. I love frankincense, sandalwood and jojoba. However, after giving this product a good trial, it’s not for me. I’m well into my 70’s and this product causes me to breakout with blemishes. I used light applications, took breaks of 7-10 days, when I started using it again, I’d breakout. I live in an arid climate and haven’t had this skin issue before. I suspect the hellianthus annus seed oil or one of the other oils is the problem for me.

When I recently decided to try Frond fragrance, you included a little sample of the frankincense night cream. I used it that night, and it was perfect. It was absorbed into my skin very quickly. The next morning, my skin was remarkably softer and smoother, which led me to purchase the regular size, since I know, I’ll be using it every night. A little goes a long way, so fortunately, this jar should last a while. The scent is lovely.
