I have been buying Aran for some years now. I love it ! I’m picky about scented things and find especially for men the colognes etc out there can be awful. Aran is quite literally a breath of fresh air ! It is such a balanced scent and further more it transports me back to Ireland. I don’t have the words or training to describe as a sommelier might describe a wine but I find it to be fresh and at the same time earthy. It consists for me woods Ireland after the rain , or standing by the wild Atlantic in summer. I can’t tell you how many times people say to me here in the US , ‘ who smells so good ,?’ And I’m like ,’ pretty sure it’s me !’ Lol .

So I’m even a cologne wearing kind of guy, but I fell in love with Aran some years ago and now it is all I will wear. As an Irishman living abroad it makes me feel connected to my homeland and my heritage. It calms me and at the same time invigorates me. I’ve gotten used to hearing ‘who is it that smells so good? Or is that you that smells so good. I lean my chin in and say I don’t know is it ? But of course I do know. Cause it’s such a unique fragrance. Quality product from a great company. I took a gamble on this scent having never smelt it or any other of the Burren Perfumery's products. It is a gorgeous unisex perfume, with different levels of scents. I got also the Discovery pack, which is a fantastic idea to try a scent for awhile before getting a big bottle. However I am so happy I chose a big bottle of Aran, it's fresh & warm at the same time, is present on your skin but never overwhelming. A perfect blend.
