Borage is important as a direct source of gamma linolenic acid (GLA). With levels of GLA reaching up to 24%, borage is the richest available source of GLA. Due to its anti-inflammatory properties, borage oil will soothe dry and sensitive skins, restoring balancing and elasticity. It will also cool and soothe skins suffering from dermatitis or eczema.
