What we are about
The Burren Perfumery is a family company that we run at a small scale with our wonderful local staff. Our aim is to be better than the best of the large brands in the quality of our products.
This is where the magic happens
The Perfume Room
We blend, bottle, polish and pack every bottle of perfume here in the Perfume Room. Visitors see the perfume filtering and being filled into our beautiful etched perfume bottle.
The Blending Room
In the Blending Room Cliona, Sinead and Cecilia make our range of organic creams and balms. The products are made in small batches, usually 30 to 50 units at a time. We never hold large stocks of our products, choosing instead to manufacture only as needed.
The Herb Garden
The Burren Perfumery Organic Herb Garden was planted in 1999. Our intention is to provide our visitors with examples of the native herbs and information on their traditional uses.
The Tea Rooms
Relax in the rose-covered Tea Rooms, which serve a mouth watering selection of organic cakes, scones and pies. Homemade soups with freshly baked bread, selections of local cheeses and salads all made with organic vegetables...

In our online store you can find our full range of perfumes, body lotions, soaps and organic cosmetics. Shipping is free worldwide with orders over €70.
The Perfumery
The Perfumery is open to visitors all year. Watch products being made and try them in the shop. The Perfumery is self-guided and we also have free daily guided tours during busier months. Check our noticeboard when you arrive for what we are making that day and the times of tours and talks.

We have a free audiovisual presentation on the flora and fauna of the Burren for you to enjoy when you visit.
