Borage

My y husband and I have been using this product since may of 2023 when we visited the perfumery. The experience of just being there was absolutely wonderful. This product, the borage has been very good for our hands and forearms, my husband has experienced some improvement in skin spots he had and I have experienced fading from some brown patchy areas in my arms! We recommend these products, the perfume I bought has been wonderful, light, and refreshing. Thanks the The Burren perfumery staff and their dedication!

We LOVE Burren Perfumery's Borage Herbal Balm! Our daughter had a psoriasis type condition on her hands that nothing worked to cure...until we tried the Borage Herbal Balm. We use it to heal everything in between too, from common cuts to dry skin. It has become a staple in linen closet!

I use the Borage Balm for my dry skin. With regular use, it helps prevent outbreak of eczema.

I’m a rosacea sufferer and this balm is excellent for calming and for reducing sensitivity. I use it at night and in the morning. My skin has less flare ups. It’s just brilliant.

I have suffered from very bad venal ulcers.,on my left leg for years and being in compression bandages,this used to make the skin on my leg so dry and flaky.I started using the Borage ointment years ago and as a result I had no more dry skin.The nurse who did the procedure said it was worth it. It has been the best thing for me.

Love using this on my hands and arms

This balm is amazing. My father tried lots of creams and this is the only one that worked. He gets dry and itchy skin on his back, which keeps him awake at night. Highly recommend.

Unpleasant smell

Love this balm! I personally use it on my face. It makes my skin feel supple and sooooo soft.

I used this product on a few areas of my body that had aging skin. I used it daily but it was used with 2 weeks. I feel it was way to expensive to use it going forward so I switched to a different product.

I suffer from Venus ulcers and have done for many years,therefore i have to have compression bandages on my leg, these make my skin very dry and peeling,The only thing that prevents this is putting the borage balm on under the bandage. My skin is lovely because of it, if i run out and have to use an alternative it does not work. Having used it for many years i highly recommend it.

Great for around the eye area and facial areas. Really hydrating. I love applying it in winter before I go dog walking. Fantastic for combating the western Atlantic winter wind!

I find the borage balm excellent for dry and irritated skin.

Your claim that the Borage Balm is good for aging skin is absolutely correct. I am 82 years old & the skin on my arms & legs has become dry with bits that form & become itchy. The Borage Balm has cleared much of this & eliminated the itchiness. I also have some red spots called Campbell de Morgan spots & the balm stops these spots getting bigger. Thank you I am so grateful & thankful that my cousin who lives nearby to you introduced me to your wonderful products. Diana

I really love this product. Beautiful herbal scent and great for dry, damaged skin. I’m even using it on the dry ends of my hair! An all-round wonderful product with many uses around the house.

When I was visiting the store last summer, borage was recommended to help heal my rosacea that was flaring due to travel. I'm 55 and very fair skinned. I have struggled with inflamed skin my entire life. This works! So calming and soothing.

Borage herbal balm is a miracle cream. I had been to the doctor with painful itching arms and had been give. hydrocortisone cream. Not wanting to use that for a long time I decided to give this balm a try - and straight away my skin felt good and no itch. So I continued to use it everyday. A very little goes a long way ... is fantastic

Borage is absolutely the best hand lotion that I have ever used!

I was anticipating more of that cream, it feels as if you're applying pure but solid olive oil on the skin and it smells like olive oil (not really to my taste). I checked the content and indeed it's olive oil with other oils. I suppose it should be should more as a healing remedy rather than an everyday routine thing. I can't doubt its good qualities because of the content but not a fan of the smell.

You wouldn’t want to use on face during the day as it’s very thick and shiny. But very good overnight for dry face.

Bought some my wife and it aided her skin so bought d sad I’m ex more we will be over again soon

I have scar tissue from skin cancer treatment many years ago and the Borage balm has made an enormous difference in minimising the scars. I have bought it for a friend who has had many cancers removed from his face and I am sure it will help him. Also, it has also been helpful for other skin blemishes.

I have very dry ageing skin. I’ve tried everything nothing has worked like your borage product. At first I thought it would be greasy but it soaks right in very quickly. I’ve recommended it to all my friends.

I love this product! I use it on my face and arms at night. I used to get a lot of bruising on my forearms but not since I started using this regularly. It definitely makes my skin more pliant and I have noticed that scratches on my arms from gardening heal a lot faster as well. I also use the comfrey balm for these. I live in the desert southwest (USA) which is very dry. The borage balm has been the best item I have found to combat this.

I'm on my feet all day and suffer from plantar pain. This balm is the only thing that calms the pain in my feet.

I have definitely noticed a difference in my skin since using this balm. Sorry I didn't get more while in Ireland but didn't expect such dramatic results. This also works well on mosquito bites so that is a plus since we had a lot of those last month. I live in a (usually) dry climate (except last month!) and love how this makes my skin feel. I will be ordering more and trying some of the others as well.

So Nourishing I love the difference in smoothness and elasticity of my skin since I have started using this lovely balm.It absorbs into the skin leaving immediately, and a small amount goes a long way.I highly recommend this balm!
