Whilst fiddling around trying to get my camera connected to the computer so that it would be easier to shoot product shots I discovered I could use the same set-up to do time lapse photography. Since my office looks out onto the tea rooms I started there (see below right) and progressed to sitting on hillsides reading a book while the camera clicked away.
These little sequences were mostly shot over an hour, one frame a minute, and have been made into Windows or Quicktime movies at 12 frames per second. I hope they amuse you. If not, it may amuse you to know that I inadvertently walked off the roof of the Perfumery while making the time lapse of the night sky. I just had time to think: "I wonder will this hurt?" before landing in a large patch of brambles, unhurt.
